Our first collaboration as a husband / wife team, Alice is the first painting we did in this series. This painting is 20cm x 20cm and is painted on carved, painted and sanded board. Markus made this background and then Tessa painted the face in the prepared space he left for her in the centre, using oils. The neck piece was added on afterwards, and is made of painted wood.
